- Open the PowerPoint app
- Choose your Slide
- Navigate to Format
- Go to More Gradient
- Click on Gradient Fill
- Navigate directly to the Gradient Stops

1] Open the PowerPoint app
The first thing you should do here is to fire up PowerPoint, and from there, you can either load an already created presentation or a new one entirely.
2] Choose your Slide
After opening PowerPoint, it is now time to select the Slide where you want to add colorful texts. If you’re new to this program, then look to the left to locate your favorite Slide.
3] Navigate to Format
From the Slide, you will want to select the correct text, and from there, click on the Shape Format tab at the top.
4] Go to More Gradient
OK, so after selecting Shape Format tab, look to the Ribbon for the option that reads WorldArt Styles, and be sure to choose Text Fill. After you’ve done all of that, go to the Gradient section from the dropdown menu, then select More Gradient.
5] Click on Gradient Fill
You should now see a section that appears to the right of your screen with a title that reads, Shape Format. From under the Shape Format section, there are a few options to choose from, but avoid everything and select Gradient Fill instead.
6] Navigate directly to the Gradient Stops
After you’ve selected Gradient Fill, the next step is to look to Type and choose between the four options available. They are Linear, Radial, Rectangular, and Path. From there, go to Gradient Stops and be sure to click on the first pencil-like button located on the slider.
